E46Z10A Screen dying or gamma issues

Hi, I have A E46Z10A and have this a problem which is best described as 
"There was an issue in that no matter the source or adjustments made... everything looked as though the gamma was turned up too high and no adjustment could get it right.  For those that aren't sure what I mean by the gamma being too high... The colours are just a bit too colourful and the white isn't just white it is gleaming and a little blinding like the TV is trying to be an LED torch! Everything is just a bit too over the top... kinda like the TV has taken a psychedelic drug and wants to share! " Heaps of green on mine,
This is taken from a post on the whirlpool forum regarding a 42inch screen. Just wondering can i use thatE42Z10B  firmware to update this panel? Ive tried the E46Z10A firmware to enhance picture and sound quality (AUS model ONLY) but it didnt chang anything.
The TV is under a year old please help.

Thanks for your enquiry.
Please NEVER try to upgrade the firmware from another model. It might damage the unit.
There is no firmware for E42Z10B for the color issue you mentioned at the moment.
